Meet the leadership team of Austrians in New York
Verena Erhart
President
Growing up in Tirol, Verena studied in Vienna after high school. She loves exploring new places and, before moving to New York in 2011, she lived in Spain, China and Saudi Arabia. The Austrian foreign service initially brought her to New York and after working at several NY-based restaurants she now works at the Austrian trade commission helping Austrian companies enter the US market.
Andreas Pumberger
Treasurer
Born and raised in Upper Austria, Andreas chose to make New York his home in 2007. (He even chose the Big Apple over London!) His background is in software engineering, and he currently works in enterprise software sales.
